COVID-19 Rental Assistance

 

In partnership with the City of Fort Worth, Pathfinders is providing emergency rental assistance to eligible Fort Worth Residents. To see if you qualify for rental assistance please call 817-731-1173. Below is a list of items that you will be required to submit if you are eligible for assistance.

Please note the need for assistance in our community is very high, and the waiting list is long.  You will receive a phone call from one of our financial coaches for prescreening within 3 weeks. Thank you for your patience.

  • Copies of identification for all adults (18 years and older) in the household (must be state ID, Driver’s License or passport. Social Security cards will not be accepted.)
  • Copies of identification for all children in the household (must be passport, state ID or birth certificate. Social Security cards will not be accepted.)
  • Signed lease agreement
  • Income source documentation including any of the following:
    • 3 paycheck stubs
    • Social security, Disability, Unemployment or Veterans benefits
    • Letter from employer
  • Proof of COVID-19 impact documentation including any of the following:
    • Letter from Employer
    • check stubs demonstrating less income
    • Increased expenses – a copy of bills or services
    • Child care closure notification
    • School closure notification
    • Loss of health coverage and medical/ medication costs
